Rich Amole: “Just behind the Asbury Park Casino is a ticket booth,  perhaps a place to purchase those passports to fun at the Casino Amusements.  The edge of the Carousel can be seen along with some games of chance back in the time when you could smell the popcorn cookin’ and that salty breeze blowin’ through all the entrances.”

“Hi Paul…shot this this morning before the sun came up….The beach replenishment crew has moved well into Bradley Beach and is slowly pulling out of the south end of Ocean Grove….so we can say good bye to the heavy equipment and ships off shore, it would seem….”

MARTHA WAINRIGHT   From the soundtrack of the movie The Aviator.   The song “I’ll be Seeing You” was written by Fain and Kahil in 1938.  It was in a Broadway show called “Right this Way” which closed after 15 performances, but it was huge during WWII when it became an anthem for homesick British and American troops.

Regarding the image of the rowers, Bob Bowné said, “The guys in the boat were out on the ocean this morning, before the sun came up…rowing????  The air was 7 degrees, the water about 39 degrees, and the surf was downright treacherous….don’t know what they were up to, but I think they are CRAZY, LOL!????!!!!
