Jean Bredin: “Every Wednesday night, the Ocean Grove Summer Band plays at the Beach Pavilion at 8 pm.

“Tonight  the band was celebrating 64 years of playing in Ocean Grove.

“Harry Eichhorn does not conduct anymore, but he was in the brass section playing his trumpet.

“Old fashioned fun, what a treat!”

I would love to get an e-mail for Harry Eichborn.

I was wondering where he was, and low and behold he’s still blowing his horn in Ocean Grove after all these years.

I located myself in that old 50s photograph (probably 57) with my trumpet in the 2nd row (5 from the left).

He was a great influence on me and I would like to tell him how well its effect helped me.

    Thanks,
Bob Greenhut (Williams in High School)

Editor’s Note: If one of Harry’s friends wants to contact Harry regarding this inquiry, just have Harry let me know of his interest, and I will send him this commenter’s email address.
