This song, “Love Is a Losing Game”  seems very familiar to me—as if it were from 30 years ago. It seems like a retro sound, similar to music from the James Bond movies.

But Amy Winehouse, a British superstar, wrote it and first performed it in 2006. Her soulful and unique style and sound was so touching and heartfelt.

Her music seems extra poignant now knowing what happened to her;  she was an original.

Tony Bennett was a huge fan of Amy Winehouse  (1983-2011.)    He says that he misses her, and I do too.  Here they are with a remarkable rendition of Body and Soul, a song from the 1930’s which is so sensual that you can’t help but stare at the two of them and forget their age difference. —Paul Goldfinger, Editor @Blogfinger.
