Portrait of Eileen. 2024

November 8, 2025 by Blogfinger

This is Eileen Goldfinger last week, holding my dinner. Paul Goldfinger photo in her OG garden.  6/1/24.

By Paul Goldfinger, Editor, Blogfinger.net

My first posted portrait of Eileen was when she was 16, under the boardwalk at Coney Island.

Today  she helped me arrange my Art on the Porch display.  We both went to school at the George Washington University where she became famous for standing in line all night  with her room-mate to see Kennedy’s coffin lying  in state.

She also won fame on campus when her mother, Florence, took a fast train from Jersey  to look for Eileen in the Library of Congress to complain about her choice of boys.   Florence was on my side.

Eileen  also is a Blogfinger editor who is responsible for keeping my apostrophes in the right place and making sure that Blogfinger doesn’t get too obnoxious.    She hopes that some day Ocean Grove will have more hyphens than Avon-By-The -Sea.
