   This is from the artist Michael Goldfinger. Regarding this photo he said,

   “Thanks Dad.
   That was a top rank in my photo collection
   It ran big on the front page and won numerous photojournalism awards”

   Michael Goldfinger was the photography editor at Boston University’s daily student newspaper “The Daily Free Press.” After graduating he served an internship at The Los Angeles Times. Later, he was on the staff of the Asbury Park Press and he rented apartments in Ocean Grove. The Press had a highly regarded photography department back when.

   Some years later he changed careers, and for awhile he lived in the Grove with his wife, a nurse at Jersey Shore, and they had their son Noah there.

   Now they live out of the country, but we sometimes post photos he took for Blogfinger. The Easter photo above won him an award. PG
