A very large crowd assembled after dark in Firemen’s Park to greet Santa who arrived on an OG Fire Department truck.  The excitement was palpable as Santa worked the crowd before settling into his Santa chair.  A long line had formed for the children to make their requests and collect a gift.

The adults were elated.  Mike of Heck Avenue said to me, “This town is so special; where else can you find something like this?”

This is the sort of event that breathes life and pride into a town; an event that is for the residents not huge throngs of tourists.
