By Paul Goldfinger, Editor, Blogfinger.net, Ocean Grove, NJ, USA. Great Auditorium. Live Nativity. 12/2/23.
It was night, and a pretty big audience had assembled in Ocean Grove’s Great Auditorium for the annual “Live Nativity.” Participants were dressed like shephards or angels, and some kids were crawling around imitating sheep and other animals.
The angels with their glowing halos were scattered about in the audience, backstage, up in the galleries, on high, and on stage.
It was dark inside with spotlights shining wherever the action was. The background music honored Christmas, and photography was difficult because it was so dark. Outside people and kids were peering through the open doors.

Kevin: I really appreciate your comment about my photography. It has been a lifelong pursuit , and I am pleased that you see beyond the pretty pictures: Have a wonderful Christmas…
I would be more than happy to nominate you for a Pulitzer for all your wonderful photographs that represent the very best of Ocean Grove.

Thank you for the review. Now I am motivated to try for a Pulitzer.
Wonderful pictures of a real piece of religious Americana.
