Signs of the times: We see joy, peace, season’s greetings, a lit tree, a Nativity scene, lights strung around the park, Santa’s sleigh, but something’s missing. And we are not thinking of music.
What are we thinking? The first to submit the correct answer wins a signed Jack Bredin print, wonderful for framing and hanging over your fireplace for the holidays.
WE HAVE A WINNER. PAT GEORGE is an out of towner who is a fan of Ocean Grove. It is she who was the first to understand that the script in Firemen’s Park should have included:
“Merry Christmas.” She will receive the prize.
But how could they fail to say “Merry Christmas” in this “Christian town, ” as the media likes to say? We could speculate on that omission, but perhaps some one else will explain.
The CMA says it with a big banner at the entrance “gates” to the Grove
And here is the Mormon Tabernacle Choir at the Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah. They are accompanied by the Philadelphia Brass and Percussion. And below we have the missing piece:

Pat. I know you won before, but Jack and I would not worry if you accepted one of his prints. If you do want one, just email me at Blogfinger@verizon.net.
By the way, which one of my prints do you have? Did you remember to take off the plastic? Paul
Merry Christmas?
