What we need…. great balls of fire:

November 15, 2023 by Blogfinger

Does the HOA have a solution?  They’ll ask two committees.

By Paul Goldfinger, M.D. Editor, Blogfinger.net. Ocean Grove.

From the Township’s November 13 presentation:

“WHEREAS, upon passage of this Ordinance Adopting the Amended Redevelopment Plan, the
Amended Redevelopment Plan shall amend and supersede the Redevelopment Plan for the Ocean Grove
North End; “

Blogfinger did not attend the 11/13 Township meeting where an amended North End Redevelopment  Plan was discussed.  We were told that the meeting was well attended and many folks wanted to express their displeasure of the hocus hocus put forth by the Neptune Township’s governance.

So the resolutions and ordinances pertinent to this matter were not voted upon–they were tabled and  the new “amended” plan was not forwarded to the Planning Board, and the Committee did not vote to make the new plan into law.  The next Township meeting is Nov. 27.

The OGHOA, an organization that failed since 2008  to blow up the original plan may be opposed to the new amended plan, although they have not officially said that.

In an announcement today, the Groaners said:

“We will have a joint North End and Legal Affairs Committee presentation on the November 13th Township Meeting where a vote on the final approval of the controversial North End Redevelopment plan was tabled, and an update on preparations for the next Township Meeting on November 27th.”

So their idea of taking action is to turn over the matter to two of their committees.  Thus the HOA committees  will present the matter to the membership at their Nov. 25 meeting.   But don’t expect too much because they will also have a business meeting and a lecture on home insurance.

And  don’t expect a scintillating meeting.   This is what Woody Allen said:

“There are worse things in life than death. Have you ever spent an evening with an insurance salesman?”

Anyhow, who elected the OGHOA to represent We-The-People before the Township Comedy?  They have a small membership most of which are apathetic and impotent.

Instead our elected officials should represent us in objecting  to their own plan.   Obviously that is an impossible dream, so who will bring justice to this situation?

Maybe the Governor’s wife will  pressure her husband to appoint a special prosecutor  to come here  and  investigate the whole mess for evidence of corruption so that we-the people could be reassured that there is justice for all.

In the meantime, the entire situation should be paused indefinitely.

So here is a musical description of what we need:   by  Jerry Lee Lewis.
