I have a question that might be appropriate for your Just Wondering section.
What are the rules, if any, for posting summer rental signs? Many houses in town have large “Summer Rental” signs posted by local realtors permanently displayed in their front lawns/gardens. I thought there used to be a rule that summer rental signs had to be flush against the house (at least during the summer season).
There is one house on my block that has had a summer rental sign hanging in its front yard for several years, including when the house is rented out. It seems to me this is similar to putting a sign advertising a business on a house (i.e., a house rental business). I am assuming such advertising is not permitted in OG.
If there is a prohibition against permanent summer rental signs, who can we complain to in the township to get the problem addressed?
Thanks,
