The cheap looking billboards that greet visitors to our historic town should be banned by ordinance if Neptune Township has any pride in its “Historic District.”  And just wait until the pinkification of OG recurs in October.  We might as well have the naked cowboy come over to welcome the Sunday churchgoers.  And how about some fire eaters like in Key West and even the bearded lady from Coney Island?

We could even have the billboard with the guy who used to blow smoke rings over  Times Square. At least that was fun and kept the hookers amused.  Even a demonstration by the QSpot  would be more artistic and full of life  than the current display of “fine art” on Main Avenue.

Shouldn’t the entrance to Ocean Grove reflect the character of the town that so many residents and visitors say that they “love?”  Where is the Beatification Project when you need them for the most visible location in town?

And finally, what the heck is the “Boardwalk Vineyard Church?”  At least, if there must be signs,  how about a CMA sign showing the Great Auditorium and welcoming visitors to our very special town.
