If you are planning a party for three, this is a perfect wine for the occasion. It is from the “Folie à Deux” Winery in Napa. The unusual vineyard name refers to a situation when two people make each other crazy. But now, it seems that they have found a cure for that problem by bringing in a third participant. You can get this wine for your next ménage à trios and choose from red, white or, for those who like variety, try the rosé. This wine has a good nose and good legs, but the flavor is an acquired taste. We found it at Wegmans.
Although this is a California wine, it has a French name, so let’s find a French song which will go nicely with it along with a mellow Roquefort from Cheese on Main. Here is Sidney Bechet playing “Si Tu Vois Ma Mere,” which means, “if you see my mother, don’t invite her to the party.” It is from Woody’s movie “Midnight in Paris.”
