Jersey tomato and corn report—September is peak. Saturday Sunset market will be open until Thanksgiving. »

Asbury Sunset Market is open Saturdays. This post is from 2017 and 2020. But the story is basically the same each season.

The market will be open every Saturday until Thanksgiving when  the corn will be sold as maize, and historic Grovers will come from Pilgrim Pathway with their friends the Lenni Lenapi and the Delaware  (for whom an OG street is named.)  The Indians will be selling squash and pumpkins.

What is there to say?….8/22/20

Jersey tomatoes are peaking, and they are terrific. 8/22./20 ©  Crowd peaks from 10 am-1 pm.

Farmers market— a place for socializing too. 8/22/20

More tomatoes….it is the premier NJ crop, and it comes and goes like Brigadoon.  Peaches are iffy now.
