An Ocean Grove neighborhood—not so Victorian and not so young. It’s autumn—2017. »

A.

Eric. Conklin from NJ Advanced Media, NJ.com

Arson caused the big NJ fire, and two teens have been arrested.  NJ.com photography is superb.  I’m a subscriber.

B.  If you enjoy going to the Neptune dump, the entrance has been changed from the DPW headquarters entrance to a new entrance around the corner by the cemetery.  There are signs.

C.  There is a new ice cream shop downtown:    Bellalicious.  Tell us if it is good.

D. There was a loud screeching sound from behind our home.  It was about 6 am.  It was a fox.   Here is a Facebook photo by David Grayson:

E. BIRDERS :   Our latest sightings are a yellow finch (The NJ state bird). and a cat bird which is gray with a black yarmulka on top of its head. (I will continue to try for photos, but our avian guests are skittish.) nut hatch., downy woodpecker, and return of the rufus towhee.   As for the Jewish bird, he comes with his wife, and they had a seder.
