THE TYMES:
Thank-You Paul Goldfinger.
This car is owned by Paul Eichlin who is also the keyboard player on the Boardwalk at Asbury Park. The car is a 1961 Ford Thunderbird which I have owned since June 1978. The car still has the original paint when manufactured in Sept.1960. The secret of the car’s longevity has been that it was kept out of the winter road salt most of its life. Rain Dance Car Wax and Armor-all keeps it young! Somehow Blogfinger dubbed me as Mr. Karloff which is not who I am.
Editor’s note: We had posted two Bob Bowné photographs of the same gentleman. One was with him sitting on the pier and the other showed his car. Originally Bob was told that his name was Mr. Karloff. We now have personally verified that his name is Paul Eichlin. We apologize for the error, and we will correct his name on the two posts that mentioned him.
Paul is indeed the organist who plays those delightful old-fashioned songs in the Casino.

Jean. Regarding Mr. Karloff, the mystery and mystique of this fascinating gentleman will unfold via photography in the capable hands of Bob Bowné. But here’s a hint (which perhaps might confuse you more), remember Boris Karloff? He played Frankenstein in the movies, 1930’s? You will have to wait for the actual story to be revealed. Paul @Blogfinger
Is Mr. Karloff …..Paul Eiclin? The keyboard man? I am confused, but not really…funny🎵
