Write-in candidate for the next HOA trustee election will give voters a choice. Saucy Walker will toss her hat in the ring, although she is currently wearing it. Her motto “Good to Go” will replace the current motto which is “Null and Void.”

The HOA meeting on Nov 27 in the Community Room will feature a speaker who will discuss a topic of great importance: “The Jersey Arts Center” in the old Neptune High School building. Somehow the building lost the word “Shore” in its name. Why do they want to deceive anyone by claiming the entire state for their arts programs? As arts centers go, they have a way to go.
But, in case you might be interested in “many issues which are brewing under the surface here in Ocean Grove” the HOA will have a business meeting during which time they will “have key reports on CMA ground rentals, pier reconstruction, the North End redevelopment, parking, and town parks upkeep.”
By the time they get to these topics, many of you will be slipping out the back door, but don’t worry, the Groaners are on the job looking for the “many issues which are brewing under the surface in the Grove.” Of course, if they had been doing their job, those issues would no longer be “under the surface” and they would be featuring some really important topics at this meeting.
We have been following the progress of the HOA and find that they don’t make much progress.
But if any of you learn something of great importance at the Groaners’ meeting, please put on your citizen reporter hat and write us at Blogfinger@verizon.net.
