This Mayor, a resident of Ocean Grove, will be remembered for signing the Redevelopers Agreement that sealed the fate of the North End Redevelopment Plan (NERP.)
Since 2008. no mayor has made that happen. But now, thanks to her and the rest of the beloved Neptune Committee, it is a done deal unless something remarkable occurs to short circuit the project which has more potential pitfalls than a minefield at Verdun.
Carol Rizzo will continue as a Neptuner Committeewoman.

The Township did not advertise, “A request for proposals”, because the CMA interviewed Developers and picked WAVE to be a Redeveloper before there was “an area in Need of Redevelopment”, WAVE LLC, is now OGNED LLC.
The question is, was OGNED properly selected as “The North End Redeveloper”, or was the fix in from day one?
