New Jersey Wind Symphony: Thursday, July 4, 7:30 pm. Individual tickets are $17.00. Student tickets are $10.00. This orchestra will appear as part of the Summer Stars Classical Series and will feature guest trumpetist Phillip Smith. This award winning group has been in existence since 1983. Among the pieces selected for the Great Auditorium concert are the Marche Militaire by Tchaikovsky, a classical piece with organist Gordon Turk, and the Black Horse Troop by John Phillip Sousa.
The United States Navy Band, featuring The Cruisers: Friday, July 5, 7:00 pm. This famous group has appeared nationally and internationally. It is the premier musical organization of the US Navy. The Cruisers will perform contemporary/popular music incuding jazz, rhythm and blues, classic rock, pop, adult contemporary , and their own original material
