CHRISTINE EBERSOLE  from her album Christine Ebersole Sings Noel Coward.  The song “I’ll See You Again.”

Sir  Noel Coward was from England. He wrote this song in 1929 for an operetta “Bitter Sweet.”  In 1961, the song was featured in Frank Sinatra’s last album for Capital Records.

Christine Ebersole is a joy to see in person. I had that pleasure in 2013 at the Axelrod Theatre in Deal. She won a Tony for her work in the musical  “Grey Gardens.”  One song that she is known for is  “Winter in a Summer Town” which I sometimes post in BF  (with Ocean Grove in mind) although it is sad—-not that this song is so cheery. —-Paul Goldfinger, Editor @Blogfinger.
