LOOK! UP IN THE SKY!

March 17, 2011 by Blogfinger

By Ocean Grove artist Sue Gioulis

On Thursday, March 17, at 2:25 PM, we passed 200,000 visits to this, your little hometown blog. That’s 200,000 visits since June of 2009, when we first popped out of our digital cocoon. Readership continues to grow. We’ve averaged about 1,800 visits per day this past week. (But who’s counting?)

So thanks to Sue for the cool cartoon. And thanks also to our many contributors, and to all who’ve made room for us in your busy lives. It’s encouraging.   — The Editors

MUSIC  for the occasion by “The Voice”—Frank Sinatra

By popular demand, here the first cartoon Sue Gioulis did for us in 2011. It was the start of a beautiful friendship.—Paul

I think I might account for a large percentage of those hits myself…always checking for the newest posts and comments. Interesting articles, community news, vigorous debate, music, recipes: everything in one blog(finger).

Congratulations. That is quite a momentous feat. Our Blogfinger blog brings information to the town and the town together discuss issues of importance to us all. Thank you Paul.
