It will be like this OG umbrella/chair sale. Wear a mask, distance, and walk over. Take your umbrella, pay, and leave.    We don’t expect too many visitors. Paul Goldfinger photograph. 8/19/20.

We have already seen a successful yard sale in the Grove on August 22.  There is no reason why others can’t do the same.

We plan an outdoors sale which can be held with care and safety for the locals, not as a magnet for outsiders.

Eileen and I are planning a curbside, hit and run sale for October 3.  The idea is to set up along the curb and have pricing to encourage quick payments and moving along.  Most everything will be either  $1.00 or $5.00.  We want to discourage making change.  There may be a few specially priced items.

We hope visitors will be masked and will move along quickly with distancing.

If any of you want to jump on this band wagon, just let us know and we will include you in our promotions.

We want this to be for Grovers, word of mouth,  and whoever happens to stumble by, but there will be no advertising other than what we do here on Blogfinger and maybe a few fliers around town.   This truly will be a Mom and Pop operation.

We are downsizing.  Eileen is motivated, so we have to strike while the iron is hot.  We will consider a rain date.  More details to follow.

PS:

Blogfinger has retired from the Town Wide Yard Sale business, so if any organization in town or group of citizens wants to get into that next year, go right ahead.  We would even help you with online support.
