The soloist in the Miami pop punk group “Hey Monday” is Cassadee Pope. She started in punk pop, switched to country and then returned to punk. This song “Candles” was released in 2011.
Blogfinger.net just re-posted one of our Paris church black and white photos with candles, so I was attracted to this title “Candles.”
The motif of this rock song is about a love lost, leaving darkness, so let’s not bother with candles tonight. Blow the candles out.
