I love it when those who view my photographs see something more than merely pretty pictures. I hope that they can react emotionally and or can appreciate a form of story telling.
Igor says, “Don’t ask yourself what and why” because he saw something deeper in this image, and I am grateful for that.
Of course, as a blogger/journalist, my images may report on the news, and that is a much different function. That is photojournalism which may straddle the news and fine art sensibilities.
Pretty pictures without humanity do not interest me. Black and white photography is much more meaningful to me.
