Friends near the edge of Wesley Lake

Lucky the goose and Harry the duck at the Ocean Grove side of Wesley Lake. Stephen Goldfinger photo 1//31/26

In 2021, a girl named Harmony who lived on the Lake spotted a baby goose who was being neglected by other geese.  She made a home for “Lucky” and  saved him.

Stephen Goldfinger checked in during his Pooja walks, and then saw Lucky during the next  6 years; always alone–rejected by the lake geese.

Today he spotted Lucky who is now an adult. (see above).  As before he was not accepted by the other geese, but this time he was with a friend, a duck who was sticking with the goose. Stephen named the duck Harry.

Someone could write a children’s story called “The Tale of the goose and the Duck”

And here is a link to our post about Harmony and the lonely baby goose.

Harmony and Lucky—indeed. 2021.
