Good question! There used to be groups/individuals playing music at the North End of the boardwalk in OG; there was even a drum circle on certain nights… but no more. No Secular Yoga anymore either… after 17 years of Frantastic Yoga on the boards/pier – he has been asked to cease & desist; we must take our mats and blocks somewhere else. Apparently too much competition for the Fitness, Fun & Faith program OGCMA started this year on the fitness pad they poured on the ground beside the bathrooms at the Pier. So apparently there has been ban on anything unsanctioned or under that doesn’t stand under the umbrella of OGCMA in terms of activity or entertainment on the half mile stretch of boardwalk between Bradley & AP. I’m actually surprised that there aren’t any panhandlers playing Christian Rock out there…. they may actually allow that!
