Sandy Hook ducks 1/22/26 by Bob Bowné

January 23, 2026 by Blogfinger

Young Red-Breasted Mergansers out on Sandy Hook after the recent snow.  Click once to see details.   By Bob Bowné   Jersey Shore photographer.

Photographer Bob Bowné has been submitting his stunning  images to Blogfinger.net  for years. Lately he has been “on a winter nature kick.”

Regarding these ducks, he says, “I am loving their punk-rock hairdos!”

Bob is a meticulous artist , and his images are alway striking , technically perfect,  and finally wonderfully  beautiful.

Thanks Bob for sharing with our Blogfinger readers.  We average about 7,000 hits per month including many  visits  from about 50 foreign countries  during a month.    So it gives you an idea of how many viewers will see your ducks. And your past contributions stay in our archive, ready for retrieval.

For me, whenever someone says, “duck” I get under the table.

Thanks , Paul Goldfinger,  Editor, Blogfinger.net.  Ocean Grove, NJ, USA
