This album from 1961 (“mono”) has become a classic. I scanned this cover from my collection.

Betty Carter and Ray Charles:   a famous record….The duet below is from this duet album.

The album cover photograph is by Pete Turner. The recording sessions were held on June 13 and 14, 1961 in, Hollywood, California. The producer Sid Feller wrote the album notes, and he said , “”Baby It’s Cold Outside is one for the books. Ray and Betty seemed to be so tremendously inspired on this fantastic track.”

Marty Paich arranged and conducted the album.

The album also contained other memorable classic songs including “Ev’ry Time We Say Goodby,” “For All We know,”
and “People Will Say We’re in Love.”

My photo on Mt.Tabor Way was of a historic house at the very west end of the street. It was sold recently 2025 or 2024.
