We have been publishing Bob’s magnificent images in Blogfinger.net for years. He is a very adventurist and meticulous photographer .
He used to live in Ocean Grove. You may recall Bob Bowne’s famous 2012 photo of the Ocean Grove fishing pier being blown away by Sandy. We posted that story.
Bob says, “I just went on a camping trip in a tent in the dunes at Assateague National Seashore in Maryland.”
This unbelievable photograph is of a snowy egret (with golden slippers) obtained there.
I enjoyed hearing a technical detail from Bob. He used an Olympus “Bird Autofocus” camera for this incredible bird in flight photo.
