JOHN WILLIAMS    “Theme from Il Postino,”   Pittsburgh Symphony with Itzhak Perlman. (violin)

The film was made in Italy, near Naples, although the original novel, about the poet Pablo Neruda, was set in Chile.

It is a wonderful movie which was released in 1994 and won “best picture” and “best music” Academy Awards in 1996

Pablo Neruda:

“Take bread away from me, if you wish,
take air away, but
do not take from me your laughter.”

If you walk on Delaware at Mt. Hermon Way, look at the yard of the pink house (ours). Look into the back yard and you will see a red metal sculpture “The Etruscan Horse.” Take a peak or come inside if we are out there.
Here is a link about that horse: https://wp.me/pqmj2-tse
