Rare sighting in our parks….

September 2, 2025 by Blogfinger

A rare sight: A family picnics in Heroes’  Park. Why is that ?  Blogfinger photo.  Click once to enlarge.

We live opposite to Heroes’ Park.   (aka Firemen’s Park) and it is rare to see anyone picnicking there.  And that is also true in other OG parks such as Evergreen and Boswell.

Why is it rare for people to picnic in our parks?   It is not only the erratic supplies of poop bags, but the landscaping is not welcoming. If better care would occur in our parks, picnics would be seen more often.
