Eileen and Paul Goldfinger Editors of Blogfinger.net.

This past week we had hits from 28 different countries from around the world.  Why?   We can speculate, but we do know that not everyone who visits Blogfinger.net is. from Ocean Grove.

And we continue to promote our original idea of multi-media  presentation of fine-art photography, usually in traditional black and white.

We were inspired after discovering how amazing photographs can be when presented on-line: no more cutting, matting, mounting and framing images, and no more looking for wall space to hang them.  And lately we have taken an interest in still photographs from the movies.

As for the music, it is unlikely that you could find more than a  few serious photography exhibits accompanied by music, either in person, galleries, museums or on-line.

As for Ocean Grove, NJ, USA. We are the only media source which focuses on this unique Jersey Shore town. We also stay away from religion and politics.  But “girls in their summer clothes” remains a specialized feature of ours.

Regarding our home: Blogfinger.net, we have never monitized this WordPress site. We have always operated in the red–the color of my eyes.

As for the hit counter,  after years of keeping score, WordPress has left it stuck at 4, 799, 000.  We didn’t have a counter when we first started and now we continue to have a steady river of hits.  So unless they get it working again, I think it is safe to say that we have or will soon have hit the 5 million mark.
