Paul Goldfinger photograph. Blogfinger.net. This inlet is a favorite of photographers and fisherman. The bridge across the inlet was built in 1937 and is on Route 71 (Ocean Avenue). Over the years it has undergone remodeling and other work, and now, winter ’24-’25, the Army Corps of Engineers is undergoing maintenance dredging. The depth of the inlet is kept at 18 feet.
