   YMCA: I don’t know if you’re a kidder, or if your question is straight up. So here goes: The use of the term “village people” is sort of a joke because it has two meanings in the post. Firstly, those people in the picture are “village people” because they are enjoying a park in Greenwich Village, and most of them probably live around there. Then,of course, the music below (click on the arrow) is by the Village People, and the YMCA reference is also a joke because the song is called “YMCA” and it describes fun times at the YMCA.

   So, to answer the question, “Can you kid a kidder?” I would say, “I have no idea.”

   is this page about the village people’s music or just a name not directly connected to that music. by the way i love their song . and i hope there is really a Y.M.CA somewhere in the picture.
