High winds bring down a dangerous branch in Firemen’s Park

There are a couple of huge trees in Fireman’s Park near the Main Avenue corner by the gazebo.  This is not the first time such a dangerous event has occurred over there, and it happens because no one takes care of those trees to periodically remove risky branches.

The location of the drop is where the walkway goes and where children wait for their school bus. We have complained about this before, with no results.  This time a thick trunk of a branch broke , and it is visible when one looks up. It resulted in a heavy piece of tree falling down.

On a positive note, on this cold and windy day, a flock of robins and a flock of blackbirds showed up in the park.
