Santa shows up at the North End and climbs aboard a fire truck. But it’s December 18, 2024. What’s up?

December 19, 2024 by Blogfinger

A procession of police and fire vehicles came up Delaware Avenue with lights flashing and sirens screaming. A fire truck led. It stopped as it turned onto Mt. Tabor Way, long enough for Santa to jump on board at 5 pm,  12/18/24. Blogfinger photo taken out my window. Click once to make Santa larger.

All we know is that a brief parade of police cars and fire vehicles  showed up coming north on Delaware Avenue with lights flashing and sirens screeching.  The fire truck above stopped long enough for Santa to climb aboard.  There was some milling around and then the procession continued its  slow movement onto Mt. Tabor Way.

Other than that, we have no idea as to what’s what.  Presumably Santa will show up on Christmas Eve at Firemen’s Park.  If any of you can explain these festivities tonight, please contact us at Blogfinger@verizon.net.  Thank you.
