Speaking of “bagel talk” we at Blogfinger recommend “Bagel Talk” in the West Grove strip across from the OG entrance. Their bagels are very good, and the store is welcoming and clean with fresh goods. Their sandwiches are fine, with super egg, tuna, and chicken salads, and they even have fresh lox. The workers are reliable and quick. Staffing is ample to keep the line moving, and many customers call ahead.
I have coffee and a bagel there most mornings. My choices usually are: “House blend” coffee with a dark garlic bagel, scooped, toasted twice but no burning, and scallion cream cheese. There are some tables there, so skip the rhino and go in person. Paula. Jen, Steve, Ian, Romero, Zack and Elainia will greet you with a smile. And they’ll even learn your name.
