DRESSING:
Combine the following ingredients and stir together in a container:
–1/4 teaspoon salt.
–1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
–1/2 teaspoon ground garlic powder
–juice of a small lemon
–1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
SALAD: (Layer these ingredients on top of each other as in the photograph)
—line a serving platter with thinly sliced romaine lettuce
–pour a third of a cup of the dressing on the lettuce and toss
–3-4 radishes thinly sliced
–2 large Jersey beefsteak tomatoes sliced (1/4 inch thick)
–10-15 fresh basil leaves layered on the tomato
–mild blue cheese crumbled on top of basil
–1 peeled and sliced ripe avocado
–two hard boiled eggs sliced
–pour remainder of dressing on top
