We stopped to talk to Neptuner Jerry Marciso when he pulled over in front of the Stone Pony on Ocean Avenue in Asbury Park. He was early for a parade of old cars which will occur at 11 am. Jerry says that it’s too bad the sun isn’t out because then the sparkles in the paint would show.
He says that his car friends will be coming into Asbury every Thursday evening.
Jerry belongs to a group which can also be found on the Net. Look for “The Circuit in Asbury Park.”
I guess since the era of the movie American Graffiti, hot rod cars and fifties music have been associated, but Jerry says that he plays all sorts of music when he cruises around in his hot rod.
