Haydn’s “Creation.” This recording made in the Ocean Grove Auditorium was obtained between 1890-1900 on pioneering wax cylinders. The collection was called Waxing the Gospel.
Or course the audio quality wasn’t great, but merely having these recordings is impressive. This piece isn’t as good as some others. I bet the current GA Choir members would like this, especially if they have never heard these historic audios before. PG.
