Celebrating Israel Independence Day (73 years old) April 25 and 26, 2023.

Honoring Israel in Ocean Grove. Paul Goldfinger photo on Mt. Hermon Way.—our house.   Today is their unbirthday, but not a merry one.

Israel celebrates their independence day over two days.   The first is to honor those who gave their lives to save their country. Some of those who died in the first war 1948 were Holocaust survivors.  Their motto was and is “Never again.”

The second day is for joyful celebration.

Israel is America’s closest ally in the Middle East.

“Hatikvah”  (The Hope)  is their anthem.  When it comes to their country’s defense, all Israelis unite and stand for their flag.
