Where does art live? It’s in the eyes of beholders.
Earlier this year we had Art on the Porches in the Grove.. You could travel around this small town and discover fine expressions of beauty…on porches.
You can take a walk, look around, and you will notice works of art… it could just be an apple–the last one of the season. Artists have keener sensitivities, but anyone can find works of art if they only pay attention.
Here is an example of last apples in November:
Photographers are good at that. George Tice is known for his life-long images of a bedraggled Jersey town: Paterson.
He said that he could spend the rest of his life photographing only Paterson and never repeating himself or becoming tired of his endeavors.
And when working in color, there is an added dimension to the quest for beauty. Here is an example, speaking of apples…
Last apple found in the Garden State Paul Goldfinger
BOB DYLAN and JOHNNY CASH. From the movie Silver Linings Playbook. Finding beauty in “The Girl From the North Country.”
