To join our list of yard sailors, just email Blogfinger@verizon.net and tell us your name, address, and email ; cross street. Your name and email will not appear on the posted list. As the sale approaches, we will post a list of your sale items on the list. This is a sure way to create interest.
Some will have coat-tails sales, and that is fine. The more the merrier. But they will do better if they join our list.
Joining with neighbors will create more attention.
That list will be found on the yard sale page which will live at the top of our home page where buyers can see the latest news. The Yard Sale page will appear this week.
This event is by Grovers for those of you who know it to be a social happening. Out- of- towners will come, but not in large numbers. If you are a seller you will welcome buyers from in town or from out of town,
Our advertising will consist mostly of word of mouth, fliers, and some ads (APP, Coaster. and Blogfinger.net)_ We have asked the Neptuners to assist with publicity. We are waiting for their answer. Feel free to come up with promotions. We have some fliers downtown where merchants have agreed to past our fliers.
You yard sailors can help us spread the word. You can pick up a flier or more than one at 113 Mt. Hermon Way. Please post them on your house or anywhere you can think of. Or you can make your own fliers.
You will need a permit from the Mother Ship Code Dept. They were $5.00 last year.
