We have seen no announcement that Neptune will attempt a town-wide yard sale this year, so we will continue as before.  Rain date will be  the next day:  Sunday June 18.   We are changing the hours to end at 3 pm, but of course you can stay open till the cows come home.

We will post an official notice shortly  but tell your friends and spread the word.

Note that this sale, as always, is meant to be a prototype of a town event designed for we-the-people  who will walk,  bike around, meet/ greet and maybe make some new friends and find some treasures,  as well as get rid of  STUFF.

It is mostly a lot of fun; hopefully the weather will be OK, but the rain date is  SUNDAY JUNE 18.   Having a rain date the next day makes the most sense.

There will be a “giant” craft show that Saturday promoted by the CMA who make it their business to grab most seasonal Saturdays for their stuff, along with the Chamber of Commercials.

But our yard sale will not result in any significant pressure on parking.  And the crummy craft coop might steer some of their customers our  way.   We welcome any effort to help us promote our event, but we do not do much out of town advertising, purposely.  Word of mouth and Next Door will be helpful.  Go ahead and plan your sale, and the best results occur when a number of nearby sites join the sale.

As before we will establish an on-line list organized by addresses of participants and by items for sale.  It is an invaluable tool to target shopping.  When you are ready, send us your name (optional on the list)  address with nearest cross street . I want your name and email, but let us know if we should use your name. Your email will not be released. Your list of items will not be released until the week before.
