Easter Sunday 1958. By Jean Bredin, Blogfinger staff.
I was 17, and wearing a hat that I thought looked good, but honestly, looks like a frisbee.
After my Dad took this picture, we drove to my grandmother’s apartment in New York for a delicious dinner.
When she no longer could cook anymore, my mother made the traditional meal for years.
Soon after, our house is where the family had holiday dinners.
Now, my husband and I are the elders, and my little brother, who is 72 now, and his wife, are hosting Easter dinner.
“Sunrise, sunset…..swiftly fly the years.” Originally from Fiddler on the Roof.
This version from the soundtrack of Sex and the City: Men’s Choir.
