This home is very original for the Grove. Its design is eye-catching and offers seating at first floor level onto two streets where chatting with passersby would be inviting, ie conducive to our Ocean Grove “porch culture.”

It looks like a single story  layout, but there appear to be second floor decks.   It has lovely gardens on the two front yards.  Perhaps it is a second home.

We were so attracted to it that if it were for sale, we might have whipped out our checkbook.  It seems ideal for retirees who need no stairs.

Eileen and I have lived in this town since 2002 and we have never noticed this home before, but we almost never ride on Broadway. I spotted it as we drove by yesterday to check out photos at the beach,  and we both were drawn to it.

I stopped and got out to photograph it with my i.phone.  I may return with my “big boy” Leica monochrome camera for low light views.

Three  others also identified this Ocean Grove house: second is Sam. 6:52 am;   third  is Silverfox at 7:48 am.   And then Lenora at 10:47 am.
