Blogfinger movie contest. “All Quiet on the Western Front.” Shane Martins is the winner.

March 13, 2023 by Blogfinger

This scene appears early in this film. Paul Goldfinger still image from the movie.  A group of young German soldiers are being driven to the front lines where the French are winning the war. (WW1) Little do they know what awaits them. It is the most violent movie I have ever seen.

Trench warfare allows hand to hand fighting as both lines are positioned close to each other.  The devastation on both sides is astonishing, and these movie makers bring it to life.  “All Quiet…..”  won an Oscar for cinematography.        Paul Goldfinger still image from the movie, streaming on Netflix. We will contact Shane so he can claim his prize.
