A few months ago we announced that Blogfinger will not organize the Town-Wide Yard Sale this spring. It’s the sort of event that’s perfect for a walking/biking town like ours, and it stands in contrast to the huge events sponsored by the CMA and Chamber of Commercials which flood the Grove with tourists and parking stalkers. It’s a social event–meet the neighbors. And it is also popular because so many were shut in for some years recently, and now they will be ready to walk our streets and visit some sales.
So if a group of you Grovers want to organize one this year, I will announce it and promote it on Blogfinger. And, if you wish I will do the on-line list of participants.
Last year Neptune Township announced a Town-Wide sale, and it caused some confusion, clashing with ours. We don’t know if they will organize it this year.
And for those who will do à la carte yard sales on your own this season, send us the information and we will announce it for you. (Everything on Blogfinger is free including advertising.)
