In 2013. Blogfinger tried to get the arts going in the Grove. We had a modest success with our 2nd OG film festival. But we haven’t made much progress in the last 10 years; in fact it’s worse since the CMA closed down the Saturday night music.
We ran our festival as a fund raiser for CMA Sandy recovery. The CMA and the townies like me worked together, but they forgot Blogfinger on their wall of fame in Auditorium Park.
And now in 2023, ten years hence, the CMA continues to pull away from the idea of a Grover residential community. For Michael Badger to opposed a parking plan while referencing OG history is absurd.
