About 30 homes were destroyed in Tropicana Park 2022 due to tornados. Those homes were repaired and rebuild, but it all was ruined by Ian in September 2022. Most of the residents are from the mid-West including Indiana. Now it is being rebuilt under a new name: Osprey Bay.
