Name that Jersey Shore town contest…..It’s Keansburg, and Tom Callery is the winner.

This is Keansburg in 1996. Paul Goldfinger photo. It was destroyed by Sandy. 2012.

Jersey Shore.

Keansburg is a dumpy town near Middletown.  The amusement  area is run down, and when I went there a few days ago, a few cars drove by, but only one or two people were seen.

I was a little worried walking around.

Tom Callery is the winner of a Jack Bredin print.

This is one of the sights I came across. It looked like something out of Auschwitz.  My photo.  Paul Goldfinger. Click to enlarge.

The first person to correctly identify this Jersey Shore town will win a signed print by Ocean Grove artist Jack Bredin who loves to share his work with Blogfinger winners.

This music will take us back to the old Jersey Shore:  It features John Cafferty, Kenny Vance, and the Beaver Brown Band.
